Zionism Victoria congratulates Tatarka and Michelson
Zionism Victoria board members Sam Tatarka and David Michelsonhave been recognised in the Australia Day Honours with Medals of the Order of Australia (OAMs).
Yossi Goldfarb
Sam served as President of Zionism Victoria from 2010 – 2015 and is the current Chairman of Beth Weizmann, ensuring that the Centre continues to be the vibrant heart of our community.
David is the current Vice President of Zionism Victoria; a security expert, he has worked tirelessly over the years ensuring the safety of our community.
Zionism Victoria President Yossi Goldfarb said, “Both Sam and David are thoroughly deserving of the honours bestowed on them.
“Devoted servants of the community and passionate advocates for Israel, we are all beneficiaries of the tremendous effort they put in to ensuring Jewish and Zionist life can flourish in Victoria.
“We are indebted to them for the many hours they dedicate, and many years they have dedicated, to the welfare of Victorian Jewry, and we are honoured that they are members of our board.
“We wish them, their families and all recipients of honours this week mazel tov on their recognition.”
