Charles Zentai’s extradition to Hungary to face questioning over the death of 18-yr-old Peter Balazs in Budapest in 1944 was overturned in a Federal Court appeal last year. The Government has appealed the decision. Zentai’s son Ernie talks to J-Wire…Ernie Steiner, the son of the 89-yr-old Perth resident told J-Wire yesterday:

“It has been a busy day. Naturally we are very disappointed in the Minister’s decision to appeal. I was informed by my father’s solicitor yesterday afternoon while working in the laboratory at work. It was difficult to break the news to my Dad but he is a very calm person and accepted the bad news as well as can be expected. Enormous support from family, friends and the public have really boosted his spirits.”
