The result of Charles Zentai’s appeal against his extradition to Hungary in connection with the 1944 killing of 18-yr-old Peter Balazs in Budapest will be made known today.

If his appeal fails, the 87-yr-old Perth resident will be remanded in custody to await the final decision which will lie in the hands of Federal Attorney-General Robert McLelland.

The Hungarian is wanted for questioning on the Balazs murder. It is claimed the 18-yr-old was spotted on a tram not wearing the manadatory yellow Star of David…Balazs was living under Swiss protection in Budapest.

J-Wire will produce a full report later today following the decision which will  show the original documents of indictment, arrest warrant and caricature of Peter Balazs.
