Appearing in Perth Magistrates Court today, the 29-year-old was released on $5,000 bail and ordered to stay away from all Jewish facilities and from Perth’s Campbell Barracks. The barracks bar was at the behest of the WA police who told J-Wire they houses the Australian Army’s crack SAS unit.

O’Connell, due in court again on June 9, was also ordered to stay at least 100m from the Jewish youth he allegedly harassed and has to report to the police daily
