Young Labor president Michael Buckland told J-Wire: “Community Speak is our program to engage young people from the Labor community with young people from different religious and ethnic communities.
I have been in touch with the Jewish Board of Deputies through Natalee Pozniak while Joe Blackshield, Secretary of the Young Labor Foreign Affairs committee and an active member of AUJS has been
coordinatinga lot from our end.”

50 members of Young Labor and 25 members of AUJS are expected to  attend the function at the Great Synagogue on the 20th of April. They will experience the Shabbat service and have a traditional Shabbat meal. The Great’s Rabbi Lawrence and Eric Roozendaal MLC will address the guests.
