The Yom Ha’atzmaut Young Adult Party is the largest annual young adult event on the Sydney community calendar. With numbers ranging from 600 to 1,000 participants each year, we capture various young adult groups in the community. It possesses a unique opportunity for the many young adult organisations to collaborate together, with a common goal – CELEBRATING ISRAEL!

This year the party explored the theme of “High-Tech & Innovation Israel” – which was conveyed all throughout the Fox & Lion Hotel. The venue was overflowing with green laser lights, Israeli flags, computer parts, wiring, and mobile phones décor. Guests were provided with a free drink on arrival, LIVE Entertainment all night of Wii Mario Cart on a Big Screen, Body Painting, Silent Disco, a Funky Foto Booth, 3 Guest DJs & loads of MegaBITES (variety of nibblies).

While this incredible projected is spearheaded by Hagshama, it would not have been possible without the teamwork & dedication of 15 other community organisations, including Zionist Council of NSW, AUJS, Hillel, JCA, J-Junction, JNFuture, MASA, Network, Shorething, Studio Central, UIA YL, UPJ, YMDA & ZYC
