The Year 9 student at Sydney’s Moriah College said that no matter what career he ultimately chooses ,  he hopes that “writing will be a part of it”.

Zulman’s story “Sweet Revenge” focuses on the teenage ‘underdog’, something he says he has a ‘soft spot’ for.

As part of the competition, writers were given a story starter and had to go from there.

In receiving the award Levi Zalman made special mention of his teacher Lauren Walsh.
