Woodside does $1.2 billion deal with Israel

Australian oil and gas company Woodside Petroleum has concluded a deal which will see it participate in the development of Israel’s off shore gas fields.

In a media release the company said it would spearhead the liquified gas operations of the Leviathan field which experts believe contains 17 trillion cubic feet of recoverable natural gas.
