Women’s Dinner with OzHarvest’s Ronni Kahn
Next month: Sydney’s Jewish Women of the North Shore will present an inspiring evening to embrace and uplift your soul.
The guest speaker will be social entrepreneur and founder of food rescue charity, OzHarvest, Ronni Kahn.
Through her very personal journey, Ms Kahn will share the elements she believes are at the heart of living an aligned and meaningful life. She is a passionate advocate and activist renowned for disrupting the food waste landscape in Australia. She appears regularly in national media, serves in an advisory capacity to government and is a sought-after keynote speaker. Her mission to fight food waste and feed hungry people is supported by some of the world’s finest chefs.
In 2019, Ms Kahn became an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in recognition of her distinguished service to social welfare and was also named Australian Local Hero of the Year. Her journey is the subject of a feature film, Food Fighter and her memoir; A Repurposed Life has recently been published.
Signed copies of A Repurposed Life will be available to purchase and attendees will also have an opportunity to donate to OzHarvest. Each ticket will also provide 20 meals for people in need.
