The Australian Jewish Historical Society based within the Sydney Jewish Museum is looking for volunteers to help with specific projects as the Society continues to move from paper preservation of documents to the digital age.

One specific project would require a volunteer with sound computer skills to be able to scan documents and save to a USB, quality check the scans, work with PDF files to save and rename on the network drive and prepare documentation for these processes.

The project is not demanding and requires someone to commit up to 40 hours to complete the project.  The arrangements can be negotiated to suit the volunteer.  The Society’s office is open Monday to Thursday.

Those interested in the above project or other projects associated with the Society should contact the AJHS Archivist Sabrina at [email protected]
