Tuvia Tenenbom, named one of the top 100 people who positively influenced Jewish life in 2015 and  Tzahi Halevi a musician, singer, creator and actor were guests at UIS’s WA Major Donors Event held at Perth’s Edith Cowan University Auditorium in Mt Lawley.

 Two quite contrasting speakers made it a most interesting and unusual evening.
Tuvia Tenenbom wrote the  best-seller Catch the Jew!, in which his experiences in the persona of a German reporter named “Tobi” amongst other guises which allows him to conduct interviews in Israel with monks, rabbis, Palestinian and Israeli politicians, tour guides, NGO representatives, soldiers and settlers,
Tzahi Halevi a musician, singer, creator and actor who came to Australia straight from the set of the second season of the successful Netflix series “Fauda”  Halevi, one of the heroes, invites us to discover the healing power of creativity. 
The evening concluded with a lively Q & A session which brought out the differences in views and perspectives of the two engaging guests.
