For the past 16 years, Magen David Adom (MDA) has been at the forefront of operating an advanced medical Air Ambulance in Israel.

Now, in a groundbreaking collaboration with Brook Aviation and Hatzolah Aviation Division, MDA has introduced two new state-of-the-art helicopters staffed by MDA flight paramedics, revolutionizing their rescue capabilities. These helicopters enable MDA medical teams to reach remote and complex locations with ease, equipped with advanced medical equipment that was previously inaccessible.

The Sikorsky 76 helicopters, larger, stronger, and faster, boast an impressive range of 761km and a speed of 287 KPH, ensuring swift response times. With a 24/7 operational schedule, they can simultaneously accommodate and treat two critically injured patients. The helicopters are equipped with cutting-edge medical tools, including resuscitation equipment, medications, ventilators, and more. Since their launch in March, these helicopters have played a vital role in saving numerous lives, handling diverse cases ranging from traumatic accidents to complex medical conditions.

Gil Peleg, CEO of Brook Aviation, expressed pride in facilitating the transportation of MDA paramedics swiftly and safely to the scene. The Sikorsky 76 was chosen for its advanced flight capabilities and extended range, ensuring optimal medical care during evacuation. Hatzolah-Air President, Eli Rowe, emphasized the positive impact this collaboration will have on the Air Ambulance service, raising it to a higher standard and benefitting sick and injured individuals throughout Israel.
