A third victim, a man about 50 years old in critical condition, was transported by helicopter to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva.

The attack happened on Route 35, east of the Tarqumiyah checkpoint.

MDA emergency medicine medic Tsuriel Adri and MDA paramedic David Dahan, who were the first to arrive at the scene, said:

“This is a very serious attack; we saw a vehicle with gunshot marks on a mound on the side of the road; three passengers were rescued from the vehicle, two men and a woman,

A man and a woman about 30 years old were unconscious with gunshot wounds to their bodies. They were without a pulse and not breathing We fought for their lives and performed CPR but minutes later, with an IDF medical unit, we had to confirm the death of a woman about 30 years old.

A man about 50 years old was also unconscious, suffering from gunshot wounds. We gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to the helipad, where an MDA helicopter was waiting to evacuate him to Soroka Hospital in critical condition while performing CPR. The third man, about 30 years old, was taken to the hospital, and unfortunately, he was pronounced on arrival.”
