Top Israeli Arab Journalist to address NSWJBD AGM
High-profile Arab Israeli journalist Khaled Abu Toameh will be in Sydney next week as a guest of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies.
He will be the keynote speaker at the Board of Deputies’ annual meeting, to be held at Central Synagogue on Tuesday night August 16, and will also give a public address in the Pereman Centre, Masada College, on Thursday night, August 18.
It will be the second time the Board of Deputies has brought him to Sydney. Toameh will also speak at the Sydney Institute, will address student meetings at the universities of Sydney and NSW and will conduct several top-level media briefings.
“This is a rare opportunity to hear from someone who brings a unique perspective to the table,” Board of Deputies CEO Vic Alhadeff said. “Mr Abu Toameh has his ear to the ground on of all sides of the conflict and is very highly regarded in that respect in countries around the world. We encourage members of the community to take up this opportunity.”
