At the Emanuel School in Randwick sixty students from three schools across Sydney gathered together for the third time in the year to learn that friendship, acceptance and compassion can cross religious and cultural lines.

Together for Humanity, a non-profit organisation that promotes multicultural co-operation among young people, has worked with over 100,000 students in its 13 year history.

National Director, Zalman Kastel, Program Director, Donna Jacobs Sife, and Community Partnership Officer at Auburn Girls High, Fatima Amr, talk about the value of the program, and students give their views.

Spirit of Things will be broadcast on ABC’s Radio National on Sunday, November 2016 at 6:00pm and repeated next Wednesday at 9pm.
