Sydney’s Jewish House’s online gala event, Another night in with Jewish House, is set to air in just 24 hours.

The jam-packed online 1hour gala event will feature a keynote address from Chief Rabbi of South Africa – Dr Rabbi Warren Goldstein, performances from Australian musician Ben Lee, side-splitting entertainment from international comedian MODI, an update from Jewish House CEO, Rabbi Mendel Kastel, and addresses from the Governor of NSW, Margaret Beazley AC QC, and Australian Federal Treasurer,  Josh Frydenberg.

Emceed by Kathryn Eisman – the newly announced ambassador for Jewish House’s retail social enterprise – Fashion Forward – Another Night in with Jewish House is the night you don’t want to miss!

An exclusive Silent Auction with more than 80 incredible prizes is now open and ready for bidding. Winners could walk away on the night with experiences such as a cruise around Sydney Harbor on a 75ft yacht, a wild night in at the Taronga Zoo’s elegant Eco Retreat, or a catering package from Australia’s leading kosher event caterer L’amour Catering, and an experience with Young Australian of the Year – Dr Daniel Nour.

Streaming to your screens this Thursday, 9 December, at 8 pm, the event will raise funds for Jewish House’s crisis services and programs in the coming year, supporting families and individuals reeling from the impact of the recent pandemic and other challenging crises.

Jewish House, established in 1983, provides a 24/7 crisis call line service, temporary and crisis accommodation, psychology and counselling services, weekly life-skills workshops, and a dedicated children’s service – JH Kids.
