The OBK bakes cupcakes using the Queen’s recipe

Our Big Kitchen’s Laya & Rabbi Dr Dovid Slavin obtained the late Queen’s cupcake recipe and used it as an opportunity to do something that would really honour her life and legacy including her personal touch.
Volunteers came to OBK on the public holiday declared to mark Queen Elizabeth’s funeral to prepare hundreds of cupcakes which were delivered on the same day to nurses, doctors, ambulance officers and other emergency service workers.
Through the friendship the Slavins developed with the Governor of NSW, they were lucky enough to obtain the Queen’s cupcake recipe.
Rabbi Slavin told J-Wire the cupcakes were “absolutely delicious”.
