This week’s cartoon featuring the Mishpacha family…Kaufmans – a Jewish family headed by Benny and Cheryl, who run “Benny’s Deli” for a living.
As you probably know, the word “mishpacha” means “family” and the strip mainly revolves around the Kaufmans, their children, Ylana and Jonah, Benny’s in-laws, Becky and Morrie and the family dog, Yomtov.
Of course, other characters also feature. There’s Benny’s best friend, Ronnie, local gangster, Jack Iceberg and the wholly unpleasant Mrs. Grimstein.
