The Governing Board and Executive Committee of the World Jewish Congress held a zoom with 190 participants during which a new community was added to to the WJC.

Sydney-based Robert Goot is Chairman of the WJC Credentials Committee and moved the admission of the Jewish Council of the Emirates, the representative organisation of the Jewish community of the UAE, as a member of the WJC.

The motion which was adopted unanimously brings the WJC family of Jewish communities of countries and territories, to 104.
