Legendary Jewish singer Yaakov Shwekey will perform for the Australian Jewish community on Sunday.

In conversation with Rabbi Chaim Levy of Sydney’s Shul,  Yaakov Shwekey asked about the Australian Jewish community and how they are managing during the multiple lockdowns.

He felt compelled to strengthen the community and to bring a festive spirit during what is meant to be a time of joy and happiness for Jews the world over. Shwekey reached out to his good friend and internationally acclaimed speaker Charlie Harary to be part of this project offering words of encouragement to uplift the community.

This coming Sunday 6pm AEST, Yaakov Shwekey together with Charlie Harary and a special kids magic show will perform for members across the community in Australia.

“The broadcast is an exciting project and a heartwarming display of the unity and love in am Yisroel, there is no doubt that this will shine a light of hope and positivity during these times” says Rabbi Chaim Levy.

The event can be accessed from all over the world by registering for free at events.humanitix.com/shul

During the show, there will be an opportunity to win an Apple Watch.
