Sydney Synagogues

The Central Synagogue – Bondi Junction- is a Modern Orthodox synagogue and is the spiritual home of the largest Jewish congregation in Australasia.

The Emanuel Synagogue, set in the leafy suburb of Woollahra, models the future of congregational Judaism, in that it offers, in addition to diverse prayer services and myriad learning experiences, a variety of programs to attract people of all ages and backgrounds to build an interconnected and religiously directed community. It caters for those practising Progressive, Reform and Conservative Judiasm.

Southern Sydney Synagogue  –  We are a flourishing, traditional shule, centrally located in Southern Sydney. We draw our membership from the St. George and Sutherland Shire and adjacent areas, whose combined population is approximately half a million. Our congregation is diverse and includes Australian, English, South African, Middle Eastern and Russian Jews.
