Paul Benjamin, a former teacher at Sydney’s Emanuel School was remanded in custody today, having pleaded guilty to charges of child pornography.

The 41-yr-old Benjamin appeared in Sydney’s District Court today for sentencing. But the judge asked for more time to consider the case and will announce Benjamin’s sentence on December 22. However, he did indicate to the Court that it would not be more than 18 months.

The time Benjamin spends in prison awaiting his sentence will count to the length of time the judge decides.
