With the NSW schools going back full-time on Monday, what’s happening with Sydney’s Jewish day schools.

Mount Sinai College is already back in full swing with Moriah College having a full complement by the end of this week.

The Emanuel School has decided to reopen for all students on June 1.

Masada College’s principal Martin Tait told J-Wire: “Following continued advice from the Prime Minister, the Association of Independent Schools (AIS) and NSW Health, Masada College has carefully developed a thorough plan to transition students back to the College that meets the needs of our diverse and unique community.  We have decided on a phased return to the College for our students across Kindergarten to Year 12, from this week. Social distancing measures including temperature checks for every person on campus each day will be in place to ensure the priority remains, as always, our staff and students’ health and safety. We very much look forward to welcoming our students and staff back to Masada in this staggered return over the weeks ahead.”

Kesser Torah College has some classes running at the school currently but will be at full strength from next Monday.
