Sydney commemorates Yud Tes Kislev
Several Chabad communities joined together to commemorate and celebrate Yud Tes Kislev.
Following long stretches of lockdown, the Sydney Chabad community along with many friends and admirers united to honour of the Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Schniur Zalman of Liadi – the first leader of Chabad Chassidim.
Hosted by Chabad NSW under the leadership of Rabbi Pinchus Feldman, a farbrengen took place at Chabad Double Bay with Rabbi Yanky Berger, Spiritual Leader of Chabad Double Bay acting as the MC.
Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Groner, head shliach in Melbourne, continuing his fathers’ legacy of 50 years of shlichus and leadership and is Rabbi of Ohel Devorah Chabad in East St. Kilda was the special guest speaker.
The event was coordinated by Rabbi Elimelech Levy and Chabad Youth NSW
