Swinburne for the white man
A neo-Nazi group has entered a Melbourne university without the institution’s permission and posed for a photograph making the Nazi salute.

In the Russian website VK, The National Socialist Network posted: “NSN would like to thank the student body and the faculty for letting us promote National Socialism on campus without opposition. Swinburne for the white man.”
The university issued the following statement: “Swinburne University of Technology abhors the comments, and the symbols depicted in the photograph taken on our campus.
The views and ideas of groups such as this run counter to everything our University stands for, and we condemn them in the strongest possible terms.
The group did not have permission to be on campus and does not represent the views of our staff and students.
We understand they entered the campus to take the photo and left soon afterwards. They are not welcome on our campus.”
J-Wire has asked the university if they are investigating the incident in order to establish a connection between the student group and/or the faculty mentioned.
In the meantime, Judy Fetter, the executive director of The Jewish Community Council of Victoria told J-Wire: “This is an appalling example of racist hatred displayed on campus. The Jewish Community Council of Victoria promotes a zero community tolerance of racism in general and antisemitism in particular, and recognises Swinburne University’s prompt condemnation of this intimidating and racist act.”

As the activists were in disguise they could have been genuine, most likely, or another group trying to cause trouble. University’s are no place for politics generally as the students are there to learn. Often student politics is immature, bigoted and they sometimes harass others. This happens in main stream parties like the Labor and Liberal parties too. Young Liberal and Young Labor trolls.
