200 young adults attended  Sydney’s The Central Synagogue’s Studio Central Dinner to listen to Gary Perlstein, CEO of Specialty Fashion Group and Daniel Feiler, Director of Communications, eBay Asia Pacific.

Both speakers openly discussed their personal and business insights into “the changing or unchanging face of shopping”.

The environment was electrifying and the speakers captivated the audience with their charm and charisma. Garry said that the young generation should be making a many mistakes as possible as soon as possible because he found that from all his mistakes he learnt a great deal.

Speaking during the event Gary said that dinners like the Studio Central ones just didn’t exist when he was younger.  “These dinners are not only a brilliant networking opportunity but the greatest thing that’s happening in the Sydney community!”

Studio Central has recently refocused its mission over the past year attracting high profile and highly sought after speakers to engage and entertain young adults between 18 and 35 years of age.  Recent past speakers have included opposition leader the Hon. Tony Abbott, and Shadow Communications Minster, the Rt Hon Malcolm Turnbull.

Hillel Fried, Shaliach for The Central Synagogue and Hineni, and The Studio Central director told J-Wire:  “We have already started working on even bigger and better events for the rest of this year.  We’re just putting the finishing touches on our next dinner on June 15th which will see us exclusively host a high profile speaker from Israel.”
