StandWithUs Australia has introduced SWUBOT, an AI-powered assistant designed to provide quick, fact-based answers about Israel, Zionism, Jewish history, and antisemitism.

The free, 24/7 tool aims to support students, educators, and the wider community in accessing accurate information amid rising misinformation and bias.

Michael Gencher, Executive Director of StandWithUs Australia, explains that the tool arrives at a crucial time. “Misinformation about Israel is widespread, and antisemitism continues to rise. The chatbot is part of StandWithUs’ broader educational efforts, which include school and university programmes, advocacy training, and digital campaigns. SWUBOT is designed to help users to fact-check claims, clarify misconceptions, and provide historical and political context. Drawing from historical records, academic research, and verified sources, it delivers responses in real time, making it a useful resource for navigating discussions both online and offline.

Michael Dickson, Executive Director of StandWithUs-Israel, highlighted the growing role of digital tools in education. “Technology is increasingly shaping how people engage with complex issues. SWUBOT allows users to quickly access reliable information, reinforcing our commitment to education and fact-based advocacy.”

The launch comes as misinformation about Israel and the Jewish people becomes more prevalent, particularly on social media. StandWithUs Australia continues to expand its work with universities, schools, and community organizations, offering resources to help individuals engage critically with these topics.
