Sophie to return home to Australia
MP Michael Danby has spoken out on the news that ABC’s correspondent in Jerusalem has finished her term of duty in the region.

Her reporting of the Solomon family being stabbed to death by a terrorist, referred to them only in passing as settlers in “occupied territories”. She de-humanised the Israeli side by not picturing them or mentioning their name and just referred to them as settlers in the occupied territories.
Her reporting showed a pattern of dehumanisation of the Israeli side which I hope is replaced by more balanced reporting, like that of her ABC middle East college Matt Brown.”
Sophie McNeill is returning to Australia to work for 4 Corners, the ABC’s investigative program ultimately under the control of the new head of the ABC investigative unit – John Lyons. Remember he won a Walkley award for doing a program for 4 Corners (while he was working for News Limited).

Perhaps it it was more of a case of despatching the most anti-Zionist reporter to guarantee reporting the ABC bias to a disinterested yet easily influenced public in Australia.
What do you expect from the ABC who is basically the OZ branch of Al Jazeera ? Fairness or even just the Truth where Israel is concerned ? Jews can expect nothing but bias at best, but more likely blood libel and defamation from Qatar and the Left.
