Solomon joins Friendship Circle
Olympian Steven Solomon recently walked the walk at “The Friendship Walk” helping to raise funds for Friendship Circle program.
Participation went to helping young people with special needs develop more opportunities, more fun and more friendship.
Friendship Circle programming connects community teens with young people with special needs several times a week – through Children Circle, Teen Clubs, Soccer Training, Drumming Circle and Friends@Home visits. And during school holidays through Day Camps. Our special events are community hits, while volunteer trainings and school presentations are educating our community.
The lasting value of Friendship Circle lies in the community teens who are empowered to bridge the gap between young people with special needs and their communites.
