Sir Peter Gluckman, the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Chief Science Adviser will jointly lead a meeting of small advanced economies…New Zealand, Singapore, Denmark, Finland and Israel.

NZ Prime Minister John Key in announcing the meeting stated that the outcome was a hopeful improvement in generating business from New Zealand’s intellectual property.

Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce told media that “the initiative is about how small nations that face similar challenges and opportunities can learn from each other”.

The plan is for each country to send leaders in the fields of science and foreign and trade policy.

Sir Peter Gluckman will lead the meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
