El Al flight LY87 is fast approaching Perth carrying 16 Masa students desperate to get home from Israel in these troubling times.
Zionist Federation of Australia president Jeremy Leibler has told J-Wire that 21 passengers on the special repatriation flight are affiliated with his organisation and 16 of them are Shnatties who were participating in ZFA programs in Israel.
Jeremy Leibler said: “We have managed to secure special dispensation from DFAT so kids can return to Victoria and NSW as transit passengers.”
The plane is due in Perth at 3:45 local time.
WA has closed its borders for travellers.
The Dreamliner will return with a full passenger payload of Israelis keen to get home.
