More than 300 dancers contributed to the first fund-raising event leading up to this year’s Jewish music festival Shir Madness.

Dancing the night away

Dancing their way down memory lane, the guests at the rock’n’roll party staged at Sydney Boys High school were treated to music from the 60s, 70s and 80s performed by iconic Australian recording artist Little Patti accompanied by the Mighty Guys.

The dance was organised by Jeanette and Danny Kidron and Eva and Eddie Cadry.

An exhausted Jeanette Kidron told J-Wire: “It was a wonderful evening and everyone had a great time. Most of those attending have bought their tickets for Shir Madness and Little Patti was as good as ever she was.”

Shir Madness, a music festival at which Jewish musicians can perform any music they wish and non=Jewish musicians play Jewish music, will be held on March 25 at the pavilion on Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

More than 40 acts will perform on five separate stages.  More photos here
