At IWM’s flagship site in Lambeth Road, team of curators, conservators and contractors are racing to complete an ambitious set of new galleries dedicated to telling the story of the Second World War and the Holocaust in a new way

. At the centre of the gallery is a bold new ceiling installation showing the sights and sounds of a German bombing raid to give visitors a sense of the terror of the Blitz.
