NSW police are appealing for public assistance to find  11-year-old Michelle Levy who went missing from her North Bondi home yesterday evening.

Police from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command have been told Michelle Levy was last seen leaving the family home on Glenayr Avenue at North Bondi about 6.30pm (Saturday 25 October 2014).

Despite extensive searches of the area, she hasn’t been found.

Michelle is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, with a thin build. She has long red hair, blue eyes and freckles.

At the time she was wearing a white party dress with black, orange and yellow flowers and a black sash.

Police and family are concerned for Michelle’s welfare due to her age and are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.

Police are being helped in their search by Jewish House, Hatzalah and the Community Security Group. The search has been widened to Centennial Park.
