In 1928, Hannah Hart sent a letter to the Jewish Standard from her home in Sydney birthing the concept of the Maccabi Carnival…now Maccabi Australia is seeking her descendants.

Hannah may have had a children’s library named after her. Maccabi Australia is keen to find a photograph of Hannah and to talk to any family members.

    Her parents were Mr + Mrs Phil Hart
    A brother, Morris, who died in 1941.
    A sister Fanny, who married Mr Samuel Robinson
    and another brother Jack.
