Sean Berman is the last Aussie standing in the Australian Open Tennis Boys’ Championship at Melbourne Park.

He is also the only unseeded player in the last four.

The 17-yr-old whizz-kid who was born in South Africa but has spent most of his life in New Zealand and the U.S. won a semi-finals berth this morning when he beat No 10 seed Guilherme Clezar, the Brazilian going down to the new Aussie 6-4, 6-2.

Berman has not yet received his Australian citizenship, but all the boxes have been ticked and he has been accepted as an Australian by Tennis Australia.
