SBS launches website for Coronavirus news in Hebrew and Russian

SBS Radio has launched a portal online to broadcast news of the Coronavirus epidemic in a multitude of languages including Hebrew and Russian.

In a statement, the broadcaster said: “Reaching the many Australians who speak a language other than English with vital public health information is essential to saving lives, and SBS plays an important role in informing and engaging communities particularly during challenging and uncertain times.

The portal complements and curates information from SBS’s existing dedicated services delivered on radio, mobile app and online.”
