Join online this annual commemoration to honour Holocaust survivors and victims, whose families have placed a plaque in their memory in the Sydney Jewish Museum’s Sanctum of Remembrance.

Our guest speaker, Sam Weiss, is the composer in residence with the Sydney Children’s Choir, which has partnered with the Sydney Jewish Museum this year.

Sam will share his deeply personal compositional journey, which includes a composition entitled “Deine Mami”, dedicated to his grandmother, Holocaust survivor Nelly Weiss, whose family plaque is in the Sanctum of Remembrance. Sam will also discuss the importance of the next generation passing on the memory of the Holocaust.

Date:  Sunday, August 29

Time: 4PM
