Rudd meets Shalit’s Parents

Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd has met with the parents of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier who has been held captive by Hamas since June 2006.

The meeting took place in the tent where the Shalits spend their days. Yesterday marked day 1632 their son had been held captive.
