Two members of the Australian Jewish community have been appointed vice-presidents of the World Jewish Congress
At the 14th Plenary Assembly of the World Jewish Congress held in Budapest this week, the President of the ECAJ, Dr Danny Lamm has been elected a vice-president of the organisation and the Immediate Past President, Robert Goot AM has been re- elected to be among the 10 Vice-Presidents of the World Jewish Congress. Peter Wertheim, exectutive director of the ECAJ, said :”We wish them both a hearty mazal tov.”
Ronald S, Lauder was re-elected President.
