The event begins at the Gaden Centre, 334 Edgecliff Rd, Woollahra, at 10:30 a.m. and proceeds to the Wallenberg Memorial later nearby for a stone-laying ceremony.

Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat in Nazi-occupied Hungary, saved tens of thousands of Jews by issuing protective passports and sheltering them in buildings designated as Swedish territory. His courageous efforts continue to inspire humanitarian actions worldwide.
The Hungarian Consul will attend the commemoration alongside survivors who owe their lives to Wallenberg and their families. This event honours Wallenberg’s legacy and serves as a poignant reminder of the power of individual action against adversity.
This tribute to Wallenberg will be a moving reminder that one person’s resolve can change the world, echoing his life’s message of courage and selflessness.
