The smell of pickled cucumbers permeated the air as large dishes of the Jewish favourite dominated the tables. Entertainment was provided by brother and sister duo Husky and Evie Gawenda who kept guests entertained with songs in English, Yiddish and Hebrew before guests headed to the theatre to watch the Festival’s opening offering…the critically acclaimed “Fill the Void”.
