RCV members were addressed by Boaz Bizmath, former Israeli Ambassador to Mauritania and current foreign news editor and senior analyst at Israel Hayom, Israel’s largest daily newspaper.

Bizmath spoke about the importance of promoting Jewish continuity in both Israel and abroad and highlighted the significance of protecting our religion in achieving that goal.

UIA representatives presented on the organisation’s work with the elderly in Israel.

The luncheon was followed by a Special General Meeting of the RCV which included its annual Geirut (Jewish conversion) Workshop with presentations from the Registrar, Geirut Coordinator and a Dayan from the Melbourne Beth Din.
