Randwick Council to raise Israel’s flag on Independence Day

Liberal Councillor Daniel Rosenfeld has successfully raised a motion that will see Sydney’s Randwick Council fly the Israeli flag on Israel’s Independence Day as part of the worldwide celebrations.

April 26 will mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the modern Israel and the flag will fly proudly atop the Town Hall.

Rosenfeld told J-Wire the motion was supported by most of the council.
