An enthusiastic crowd listened to address from convenor Steve Lieblich, Bob Kucera, Chairman of the Friends of Israel,  Graeme Lienert, Deputy Chairman FOIWA,  Senator, The Hon. Glen Sterle, the Hon. Kate Doust, Peter Abetz MLA,  Bishop Prost and Anthony Spagnolo,  President of the WA Young Liberal Movement.  There were messages of support sent by Hon. Michael Keenan MHR, Minister for Justice;  Dr Dennis Jensen MHR the Federal member for Tangney and Hon. Michael Sutherland, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

The theme was strongly that peace in the region is strongly desired, and if Hamas and Hezbollah desisted from their campaigns of terror, peace would reign in the region.

  1. Liat says:

The crowd is ‘so small’ because the Jewish population is small, and their supporters even smaller in number.

  2. The crowd is definitely not 1000…more like 200, whichb is a very small turnout.

I wonder why it was so small?
