Rabbi Woolstone honoured
Sydney’s Jewish House has honoured Rabbi Pinchos Woolstone by officially acknowledging that he was the care organisation’s first rabbi.
Jewish House was launched with the purchase of its building in flood St by Anthony and Roger Clifford nearly 30 years ago its aim was and is to help those in crisis
Rabbi Woolstone served Jewish House for more than 20 years as its first Rabbi during that time he helped thousands in the Jewish community and beyond and the board felt it appropriate to honour him with the erection of a plaque.
Rabbi Woolstone expressed his appreciation for this recognition and thanked the board recognising his contribution and years of service to the organisation and sends his blessing and encouragement from his home in new York.
Ditto to what RYE wrote
Rabbi Woolstone, you well deserve the recognition for your amazing work in the Jewish House that still impacts peoples lives for the positive and the ripple effects will be inherent in so many for generations to come.
Kol hakavod to you and it’s nice to see the hakoras hatov. May you continue to have nachas from the fruits of your labour.
And I would add: He was was its founder, driving force, executive director and much more, for all of those years. Along with the support and great team-work of the Clifford brothers, Rabbi Woolstone has helped countless (thousands) with his spiritual and psychological care & guidance, in the above capacities. His tireless work definitely made his corner of the world – Sydney and its Jewish community – a better place!
In the name of those thousands of souls, I say: Y’Yasher Ko’ach! May Hashem pay you in full, with LOADS of Nachas, Gezunt, and abundant material blessings!
