Rabbi inducts Chief of The Royal Australian Air Force

Sydney’s Maroubra Synagogue’s spiritual leader Rabbi Yossi Friedman has inducted the new Chief of the RAAF in Canberra with a prayer and blowing the shofar.

Rabbi Friedman is a chaplain in the RAAF and holds the rank of Flight-Lieutenant

He told J-Wire: “I was honoured to be the chaplain responsible for inducting Air Marshal Mel Hupfeld, AO, DSC  as the new Chief of the Australian Air force.”
