Jewish House’s Rabbi Mendel Kastel enjoyed his golf lesson today….from former Prime Minister Bob Hawke.

The two took to the fairways of Sydney’s Bonnie Doon Golf Club where the Jewish House Annual competition will be played on September 6….and the former PM has already put his name down on the starter’s sheet.

Rabbi Kastel told J-Wire: “Mr Hawke clearly understands the work we do at Jewish House and I hope that many of our golfing community will join him on the day. I’m a little better at the game now that I have received coaching at such a high level. I just have to stop davening when I’m swinging. At least I now know why I keep missing the ball!”
