NSW Jewish Board of Deputies president Jeremy Spinak has represented the NSW Jewish community at the reception for Indian Prime Minister Modi on Monday night at Homebush  attended by 16,000 people…and was also present  the inauguration of a new church leader.

He was seated in the front row with Premier Mike Baird and other dignitaries and congratulated Modhi on his speech.

“It was a great honour to be invited to welcome Prime Minister Modi to Sydney on behalf of the NSW Jewish community,” Spinak said. “The generous invitation extended by our Indian friends highlights the extremely close relationship which the Jewish and Indian communities are building together in Sydney, and we look forward to continuing to work together into the future.”

A number of other Jewish community leaders also attended the event.

Jeremy Spinak also attended  the inauguration of Catholic Archbishop of Sydney Archbishop Fisher.

Spinak, who was seated alongside Premier Mike Baird, was one of the first community leaders to be invited to congratulate the Archbishop
