Pratt Foundation sponsors US$40,000 Arthur Rubinstein international piano master competition

The 16th Arthur Rubinstein international piano competition has been held in Tel Aviv.

The presentation of the first prize

The winner of this prestigious competition was Juan Perez Floristan from Spain, and representing  Melbourne’s Jeanne Pratt in presenting the first prize was Save a Child’s Heart president Professor Arie Schachner.

The prize for first place was a gold medal with a portrait of Rubinstein illustrated by Picasso, a cash prize of $40,000 and many guaranteed engagements internationally

A spokesperson for Save a Child’s Heart told J-Wire: “SACH was very proud to receive this invitation from the Jeanne Pratt.

We currently have in Israel 33 children who were brought for lifesaving cardiac procedures, including children from Ethiopia, Zanzibar, Uganda, Zambia, Kosovo and the Palestinian Authority and Gaza.”
